• Toreros Finish 12th at NCAA Regionals

    The University of San Diego golf team finished 12th in the NCAA Regionals after shooting a 296 in their final round. Alex Chiarella paced the Toreros with a overall score of four-over (220; 72, 70, 78).

    GOLD RIVER, Calif. - The USD women's rowing team took second place in the 2013 West Coast Conference Championships on Saturday morning on Lake Natoma. The Toreros started off the day with a victory in the Varsity 4 but ended up coming in second behind WCC champion Gonzaga in the Second Varsity 8 and Varsity 8.

  • Kris Bryant named to WCC All-Academic squad

    SAN DIEGO, Calif. - USD junior third baseman Kris Bryant was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic team announced on Friday. Bryant (Las Vegas, Nev.) was USD's lone representative on the all-academic team that featured nine repeat honorees overall, including Bryant, who earned all-academic honors last year as well.

  • Torero Athletes Honored at Celebration of...

    The University of San Diego honored the athletic and academic accomplishments of its student-athletes Monday night at the "Celebration of Excellence" ceremony aboard the USS Midway Museum. Among the honorees were third baseman Kris Bryant, who took home "Male Torero of the Year," and sophomore swimmer Keenan Lineback, who was honored as the "Female Torero of the Year."
