All three games were sold out at USD's new ball park
Josh Lawrence, Associate Director of Athletics for Facilities and Operations, enters his 10th year with USD. Two years ago he was promoted to Associate Athletic Director after serving his first seven years as Director of the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
Lawrence oversees a staff of six full-timers and is responsible for the overall supervision for all facilities, scheduling, maintenance, event management and operations, and budget responsibilities. Since 2003 he has been responsible for attracting and coordinating events at the JCP that included NCAA competitions, Associated Student productions, as well as locally sponsored athletic and entertainment events.
Lawrence is currently assisting with departmental and University projects including the construction of Fowler Park and Cunningham Field, the replacement of Manchester Field, and the hosting of the 2012 Women's Soccer College Cup in Torero Stadium.
Prior to USD, Lawrence spent seven years at UC San Diego where his responsibilities included managing the RIMAC Arena. Josh received his B.S. from UC San Diego in 1993 with a double major in Political Science and U.S. History.
Josh and his wife, Lisa, reside in San Diego with their daughter Anne Elizabeth and son, Peter Jackson.
