Daniel Melara

Position: Assistant Athletic Trainer

Daniel Melara joined the sports medicine staff in the summer of 2010 as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. He is responsible for the administrative assignments, prevention, rehabilitation, and management of injuries for Football, Women's Soccer, Men's Tennis, and Softball. Prior to graduating from San Diego State University in May 2010, Daniel had been a summer camp intern for the NFL's Minnesota Vikings for the 2009-10 season.

• He currently resides in Mission Beach and is working on his master's degree in Kinesiology at San Diego State University.
