Brian Fogarty

Brian Fogarty Associate Director of Athletics/Development Brian Fogarty enters his 17th year in USD athletics administration where he is Associate Director of Athletics for Development. He took over this post after spending thirteen years as USD's head football coach. He directed USD's football program to eleven seasons of .500 or better records and guided their move from the Division III ranks to the NCAA I-AA level in 1993. In 2003 he was named USD's "Administrator of the Year."

Fogarty, who is currently President of the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Walter J. Zable/San Diego Chapter, was recognized by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame with the 2009 NFF Chapter Leadership Award.

His primary responsibilities are oversight of the annual and capital fund raising efforts for the Athletics Department. He co-directed the capital campaign for the Jenny Craig Pavilion, which opened its doors in October of 2000.

Brian and his wife Denise were married in 2004. Between them they have six children and seven grand children. Three of their children are alumni of USD.
