COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Scottsdale Community College...as a freshman, he hit .406...as a sophomore he was named first-team All-ACCAC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Sunrise Mountain High School...he earned three varsity letters...as a junior, he hit .481 with 38 RBI and had a .759 slugging percentage, while taking home first-team All-Desert West honors...as a junior, he helped lead his team to a 29-4 overall record, and his team was the State 5A runner-ups...as a senior, he was named the Desert West Player of the Year after hitting .470 with seven home runs...he also helped his team with the Desert West Region championship as a senior.
PERSONAL: Thomas Alan Robinson Jr., was born on Dec. 19, 1990 in Ojai, Calif....he is the son of Alan and Martha Robinson...was heavily recruited by Arizona, Arizona State, Kansas State and Long Beach State...chose to attend USD because of the city, the weather, the beaches and the prestigious baseball program.
