SOPHOMORE (2013): Played and started in 61 games as the USD everyday first baseman... helped lead the team to the WCC Tournament championship, and into the NCAA Regionals...named first-team All-WCC...was second on the team with a .319 batting average, while recording 74 hits, 14 doubles, seven home runs and 43 RBI...recorded 20 multi-hit games...went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI against Kent State (2/24)...went 3-for-4 with a home run and one RBI against Gardner-Webb (3/1)...went 2-for-3 with a home run and one RBI against Cal State Fullerton (3/5)...went 3-for-4 against Michigan (3/10)...went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI against Saint Mary's (5/3)...went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run and four RBI against Portland (5/10)...went 3-for-5 with two runs scored against UC Irvine (3/15)...was a Cape Cod All-Star at the catcher position this summer.
FRESHMAN (2012): Was named to the WCC All-Freshman Team after hitting .262 in 40 starts at first base...Totaled three home runs, 16 RBI, and 22 runs with a .401 on-base percentage... Went 2-for-4 against Columbia on March 15, 2012 with a home run, two RBI, and a run.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Poway High School for coach Bob Parry... lettered three years...his sophomore year he hit six homeruns and had a batting average of .420...his team won the CIF championship and he was named second-team All-Palomar League...his junior year he had one homerun and had a batting average of .380...his team was the runner-up for CIF and he was once again named second-team All-Palomar League...his senior year he hit eight homeruns and had a batting average of .385...he was named the team MVP, was awarded the silver bat, and was named 1first-team All-league.
PERSONAL: Connor Joe was born on August 16, 1992 in San Diego, CA...he is the son of Mee-Sun and Peter Joe...he was also recruited by the University of Arizona and Standford...he chose to attend USD because of the baseball program's prestige and the great coaching staff.
