COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Skyline College...as a sophomore he led the team in hitting with a .392 batting average, had a team-leading 60 hits, with 19 doubles, four triples, seven home runs, 30 RBI and 14 stolen bases.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Mills High School...was named first-team All-Peninsula Bay Division as a senior, as well as tabbed the Co-Conference Player of the Year...as a junior he was also named first-team All-Peninsula League.

PERSONAL: Lucas Paul Hagberg was born on November 18, 1988 in Daly City, Calif....he is the son of Janet and Robert Hagberg...chose to attend USD because of the baseball program and the great academic reputation of USD...notes that he wants to go on a safari at some point in his life.
