High School: Played baseball at Rancho Bernardo High School for coach Sam Black...he lettered all four years...his freshman year he hit one homerun and had a batting average of .225...his sophomore year he had four homeruns, 37 RBI, nine stolen bases, and a batting average of .404...his junior year he had five homeruns, 44 RBI, 10 stolen bases, and a batting average of .459...he also had a record of 9-2, an ERA of 2.88, 60 strikeouts and the total number of innings he pitched was 65...that year he was named first-team All-League, first-team All-North County, and first-team All-CIF and his team won the CIF championship...his senior year he had seven homeruns, 27 RBI, five stolen bases and a batting average of .300...his pitching record was 10-1, with a 0.66 era, 85 strikeouts, and a total of 84 innings pitched...that year he was also named first-team All-League, second-team All-State, first-team All-CIF, and the Palomar League Pitcher of the Year...his team also won CIF that year. Personal: Maxwell Joseph Muzio Homick was born on June 10, 1992 in San Luis Obispo, CA...he is the son of Diva Ham and Bob Homick...he was also recruited by Arizona State, USC, and UC Irvine...he chose to attend USD because of the baseball program and the academics...he played for the club team ABD Bulldogs and they won the 2009 and 2010 WWBA championship...he has played for the Brewers Area Code team, the USA baseball TOS in 2009 and 2010, and in the PG National Showcase...he likes to fish and surf.
