05/15/2012 Baseball Heads to Irvine Tonight at 6:30USD to battle UC Irvine in lone game of the week. 05/15/2012 Toreros Hold on for 4-3 Win Over UCIUSD improves to 39-13 overall with the win. 05/14/2012 Baseball Now Ranked No. 20 in the Latest PollsUSD is ranked as high as No. 20 in the latest COllegiate Baseball top-30 poll. 05/13/2012 Toreros Avoid Sweep with 11-8 Win Over LMUUSD is still in first place in the WCC standings. 05/12/2012 Toreros comeback comes up short, fall 8-6 to LMUToreros lose just second WCC series of season JUNIOR (2011): Named first-team All-WCC while making 45 games starts and 50 game appearances for the Toreros...with a .363 batting average (66-for-182)...hitting one homerun and 10 doubles...compiling 34 RBIs and 23 runs scored...with a .434 slugging percentage and .391 on base percentage...had one stolen base and 7 walks...went 4-for-5 against San Diego State with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs (2/27/2011)...his best offensive outings came in back to back games against Portland (4/23/2011) and Cal State Fullerton (4/26/2011), going 3-for-3 with 4 RBIs and 1 run scored in both games. COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Cypress college...as a sophomore he appeared in 33 games with 28 starts finishing the season with a .381 batting average (48-126), along with six home runs, 32 RBI, and 30 runs scored...as a freshman he appeared in 40 games for the Chargers in 2009, and started 22 of them...had a .380 batting average (35-92) to go along with two home runs, 24 RBI, and 20 runs scored. HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Diamond Bar High School...In his senior season he was a first-team All-Sierra League selection after hitting .365 with five home runs and 22 RBI...during his junior campaign, he finished the year with a .323 batting average, had two home runs, 21 RBI, and earned second-team All Sierra League honors. PERSONAL: Corey LeVier was born on June 2, 1990 in Orange, CA...he is the son of Mark, Valerie, and Stacy LeVier...he was also recruited by Loyola Marymount, Arizona, Hawaii, Arizona State, UC Irvine, and Oral Roberts...chose to attend USD because of the great baseball program, great campus, and the great atmosphere.
