HIGH SCHOOL: He played baseball at Canyon High School...as a senior he hit .383 with 12 RBI and two home runs en route to a first-team All-Century League selection...as a junior, he hit .340 with 17 RBI and two home runs which earned him a first-team All-Century League selection...as a sophomore, he hit .367 with 14 RBI and two home runs en route to a first-team All-Century League selection...as a freshman, he hit .317 with eight RBI, one home run, while slugging at a .400 clip and had an on base percentage of .344.

PERSONAL: Cody Lewis was born on July 31, 1991 in Placentia, Calif....he is the son of Claudia and Dave Lewis...he was also recruited by UC Irvine and Santa Clara...he chose to attend USD because of the great baseball program and because of the great academic reputation of USD.
