HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at La Costa Canyon High School...as a senior, he posted a 98-2 record with a 1.58 ERA, while posting 102 strikeouts in 75 innings of work en route to a first-team All-CIF and first-team All-Avocado League distinction...as a senior he set the school record for single-game strikeouts with 16...as a junior, he posted a 6-1 record with a 1.15 ERA, had 75 strikeouts in 49 innings of work, en route to being named first-team All-CIF and first-team All-Avocado League...he also played football and soccer. PERSONAL: Max MacNabb was born on August 28, 1992 in La Jolla, Calif....he is the son of Shawn and Amy MacNabb...he was also recruited by LSU, UC Irvine, Hawaii and Cal State Fullerton...chose to attend USD because of the great baseball program, the great environment and because he loves Southern California.
