SOPHOMORE (2006): Played in 25 games with five starts at UCLA...posted four hits, one home run and one RBI while helping the Bruins reach the NCAA Regionals. FRESHMAN (2005): Played at UCLA...Saw action in 37 games as a true-freshman, and started 18 games...Hit .222 (16-72) on the season, recording two doubles, 14 RBI, and three stolen bases...Posted a .966 fielding percentage on the year, recording 28 putouts to just one error...voted UCLA Freshman of the Year. HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letter winner in baseball for Head Coach Joe Potulny at Jesuit High School...in all three seasons hit over .400 and hit 18 career homeruns...was named all-league and all-city...participated in the California North-South High School All-Star game as a senior...played for NorCal Baseball club team and hit .600 with 24 homeruns in two seasons.
