JUNIOR (2010): Played a reserve role for the Toreros mainly coming off the bench while appearing in 23 games and starting in six of them... Batted .231 (6-for-26) with a on-base percentage of .286... His pinch-hitting played a key role in the Toreros winning the WCC championship...Also made one appearance on the mound, allowing no runs on one hit in 1.0 innings of work. COLLEGE: In 2009 he played for Golden West College and led the team with a .365 batting average, 65 hits, 39 runs, 16 doubles, 32 RBI, .539 slugging percentage, .429 on-base percentage and 19 walks. HIGH SCHOOL: Was a standout player at Servite High School in Anaheim... As a senior he was All-CIF Southern Section and All-Serra League while hitting .453 with four home runs and an .802 slugging percentage... As a junior he batted .400 with seven doubles, and was named the 20th-best SoCal player by CaliforniaBaseballZone.com...
