JUNIOR (2012): Appeared in 15 games out of the bullpen, posting a 1-0 record with a 3.95 ERA... In 13.2 innings, held opponents to a .192 batting average, which was good for second on the team... Allowed only two earned runs over his final 10.2 innings... Earned his lone victory after giving up no hits or runs in 1.2 innings against La Salle on April 15.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Made 15 game appearances with a 4.00 ERA in 18 innings pitched...totaled 17 strikeouts...recorded his first appearance as a Torero against Vanderbilt on February 20, 2011.
COLLEGE: Redshirted the 2009 season at the University of Oregon...played the 2010 season at Grossmont College...while at Grossmont, he posted a 3.10 ERA in 16 appearances and had 34 strikeouts in 32.2 innings of work.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of San Dieguito Academy in Encinitas, Calif...earned two letters in baseball for head coaches Dennis Koolhaas and Jack McDowell...a pitcher, infielder and outfielder at San Dieguito, was a first team all-Coastal League selection after finishing 2008 with a 6-2 record and a 1.7 ERA while batting .305 with 25 stolen bases...also won back-to-back Coastal League - North championships in 2007 and 2008...played on the TB Rays Scout Team for head coach Jake Wilson and the Orange County Black Knights in the Connie Mack League for head coach Ray Allen.
