Junior (2006): Made 25 Appearances with two starts...posted a 2-0 record with an ERA of 6.18...had a solid outing against UC Irvine as he struck out a season-high four in 1.2 innings of work (2/21/06)...in his first start of the season against San Diego State (5/2/06), he retired the first nine batters he faced before allowing four runs on four hits in 3.2 innings of work.
High School/College: Played two seasons at Santa Ana Community College...as a sophomore he posted a team-leading 2.51 ERA with a record of 4-4...struck out 48 batters in 46.2 innings of work.
Personal: Born on Jan. 6, 1984 in Garden Grove, California...majoring in sociology...was recruited by Kansas, Sacramento State and St. Johns...chose to attend USD because of the baseball program and location of the campus.
