History was made Tuesday, April 27 when Joey Prast (Poway, CA) hit his 64th career double, surpassing Joe Lima on the all-time career doubles list. Prast, San Diego's team captain is a four-year letterman from nearby Poway High School. During an All-West Coast Conference season a year ago Prast set single-season school records in both doubles (26) and hits (90). Prast ranks 3rd all-time in runs (175), is tied for 5th in career hits (240), ranks 9th all-time in homeruns (24) and 8th in RBI's (148). Prast and the Toreros are closing in on the program's 5th straight 30-win season.
