SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego's junior All-American Josh Romanski was drafted in the fourth round with the 128th overall pick by the Milwaukee Brewers. Romanski becomes the second Torero drafted on the first day of the 2008 MLB draft.

Romanski, who was also named a Louisville Slugger third-team All-American utility player, posted an overall record of 9-1 with a 4.00 ERA on the mound and hit .324 with 73 hits, 14 doubles, one triple, six home runs and 49 RBI at the plate. ROmanski also took home first-team All-WCC honors and this past season he was a member of Team USA. Romanski tossed his first collegiate no-hitter back on March 24 against Harvard, in which he faced one batter above the minimum and recorded eight strikeouts in the game as the highlight of the season. Romanski was drafted in the 15th round of the 2005 MLB draft by the San Diego Padres, and chose to come to USD instead.
