(San Diego) -- The Lucky Duck Foundation, formerly the AGIA Foundation, is hosting the San Diego Swing & Soiree on September 21st at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club. Organizers of the golf tournament, upscale shopping boutique and cocktail party are expecting 100 golfers and 200 party attendees. All proceeds will benefit the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund and Father Joe's Villages.

The Swing will kick off at noon with a shotgun shamble format that includes boxed lunch, Nike tee prizes, and team competitions. According to Lucky Duck Foundation CFO, Pat Kilkenny, "This is a rare opportunity for non-members to play the exclusive Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club, with the added benefit of supporting two worthy causes."

For the second straight year USD Athletics and the men's basketball program will be involved with supporting this important cause. "Once again, the University of San Diego is excited to be a part of this event as it gives us another opportunity to provide community service," said USD men's basketball coach Bill Grier.

Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club is a championship course distinguished as one of the finest "walkable" designs in the world. Located in North San Diego, the course was extensively renovated in 2002, elevating it to one of the Top 20 Best Golf Venues in California according to Golf Digest Magazine.

The Soiree, an upscale boutique-shopping event with open bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres, begins at 4 pm with a gift from Columbia Sportswear for all attendees. Vendors include Pure Bliss the Boutique, Annmarie D'Ercole Jewelry and Apparel, Tolani Scarves, Silpada Jewelry, Advocare, jewelry from the Susan Booth Collection, Provence Distribution, Childish Couture, and many others.

Swing & Soiree sponsors and partners include: California Bank & Trust, RBC Wealth Management, University of San Diego, Anderson Direct Marketing, theLIFT, Azunia Tequila, Columbia Sportswear and Nike.

According to Lucky Duck Foundation CEO, Stephanie Kilkenny, "We are excited about the new format of this event. It promises to be a unique experience with a combination of delicious food, signature drinks, socializing and shopping while supporting local and national charities." Silent and live auction items include trips to Italy and New York, sports memorabilia, and a wide variety of local items. Golf awards and entertainment will complete the evening.

Swing & Soiree tickets for golf and party can be purchased for $600. Soiree only tickets for non-golfers can be purchased individually for $100. Both can be purchased online at LuckyDuckFoundation .

Lucky Duck Foundation leadership, Pat and Stephanie Kilkenny, plan to personally match the funds raised by this event. In November 2008, their San Diego TEE-OFF & TIP-OFF fundraiser raised over $135,000 for local and national charities.
