High School: Attended Saint Joseph's Preparatory School...competed in rowing throughout all four years of high school...as a senior competed on the Varsity 4X and helped his team place silver in the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship...rowed for the Crescent Boat Club...placed sixth in the Junior U19 Men's Quad Royal Canadian Henley.
Personal: Alexander La Bruno was born on Oct. 22, 1993 in Philadelphia, PA...he is the son of Perry and Diane La Bruno...is majoring in Engineering and chose USD to participate in Naval ROTC and rowing...he noted that he is an eagle scout as well.
