SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego men's crew team had a solid performance to close out the final day of action at the annual San Diego Crew Classic.
In the men's JV Petite, the Toreros junior varsity team was dominating as they won their heat with a time of 6:42.80, a seven second difference over the second place JV team from the University of Southern California.
The men's Varsity eight also were out in dominating form as they rowed their way to a second place finish in the Men's Cal Cup Petite. The Toreros finished the 2000 meter course with a time of 6:25.89 which was just two seconds slower then the boat from USC, but was two seconds faster then the boat from Notre Dame.
The Toreros will return to action on April 14th as they compete in the Newport Regatta in Newport Beach, Calif.
