Scott Aurich enters his second season at USD where he will again be an assistant defensive line coach and help coach the scout team. Scott played college for Grant Teaff and the 1974 Southwest Conference Champion Baylor Bears, and lettered 3 years at Stephen F. Austin State University where he played strong safety. He graduated from S.F.A.S.U. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, however, chose a career in the real estate business. With a passion for teaching and working with young athletes, Scott had had 16 seasons of coaching a variety of youth sports. He joins coach Harbaugh's staff to help build a successful football program and to make a difference in young athletes lives by preparing them for life after college. Scott and his wife, Wanda, reside in Coronado with their son Scotty, a junior at Coronado High School.
