High School: Attended Edison HS where he was a three-year letterman in football... Senior year was team captain and 2nd Team All-County... A three-year All-Sunset League performer, team was CIF Pac-5 finalist junior year.

Personal: Born on December 11, 1989... Parents are Martha and Stephen Bogard of Huntington Beach, CA... Chose USD for football and excellent education... Also recruited by Penn, Harvard, Air Force and UC Davis... His dad played football and baseball at USD... Enjoys surfing and snowboarding.
