Personal: Born on June 20, 1989 in San Diego, CA... Parents are Kolby and Kate Gibson of Encinitas, CA... Chose USD because it is a great school with strong academics and football... Also recruited by Cornell, Columbia and Dartmouth... His dad, Kolby, played collegiate football at Cal State Northridge... Has three younger sisters... Enjoys surfing.
