USD:Enters second and final year with the Toreros... Will start with offensive line unit at center... Last season started ten of eleven games for the Toreros with the offensive line unit... Played a key role with both run blocking and pass protection as the Toreros led the PFL in total offense.

College: Played two years at Gavilan Junior College where he was a two-time Academic All-State and All-NorCal performer (2006 & 2007)... Recipient of Bud Ohman Award, Most Valuable Offensive Lineman Award and Team Captain.

High School: Attended Hollister HS where he earned three varsity letters in football... Senior year team went 9-2 while he earned MVP Offensive Lineman honor... Junior year (9-2 recod) was tabbed Team Captain and Second Team All-League... Also competed four years in track & field, and one year in wrestling.

Personal: Born on December 27, 1986 in Hollister, CA... Parents are Mary & Blaise Kostielney of Hollister, CA... Chose USD for its academics and football... Also recruited by Sacramento State, Idaho State and Tulane... Besides football, enjoys fishing, lifting, and watching 24... Hopes to land a job with FBI following graduation.
