Todd Rusinkovich enters his second season with the Torero football staff, this year as an Offensive Administrative Assistant. Last season Todd was the Defensive Assistant under the legendary Coach Dave Adolph.
Rusinkovich is a graduate of Cornell University where he was a letterman on the Big Red Ivy League football team. He played defensive line, fullback, and tight end during his four years at Cornell and received the Freshman Scholar Athlete Award, was elected to the Cornell Football Players' Council and served as a position leader. Todd had a season ending knee injury during his sophomore year.
Prior to Cornell, Todd attended San Clemente High School in San Clemente, California where he was an All South Coast League player at linebacker and led his team to the CIF semifinals. Todd captained the squad and was named the team's MVP. Rusinkovich was also the captain for his basketball and baseball teams while at SCHS and was named Athlete of the Year and Student of the Year as a senior.
Todd's two younger brothers, Jake and Chad, are extraordinary collegiate student athletes. Both are standout wide receivers, Jake a junior at Northwestern College and Chad a redshirt freshman at the University of San Diego.
Todd is currently enrolled in the USD Graduate School of Leadership and Educational Sciences.
