USD: Enters his fourth year at USD and third in competition where he will play in secondary... Last year was back-up to Chase McBride at strong safety... Appeared in all 12 games and totaled 31 tackles (16 solo) with 3 tackles-for-loss and 1 interception... Season-best 6 tackles in win over Morehead State... Chipped in 5 tackles twice (Dixie State & UC Davis)... In 2005 he appeared in a handful of games and totaled 2 solo tackles in home win over Marist... Sat out the 2004 season as a red-shirt.
High School: Played for nearby Grossmont HS, where he was named All-League and Defensive MVP his senior season with 110 tackles and five forced fumbles... Helped Grossmont to the Grossmont North League Championship with 80 tackles and three interceptions his junior season... Had 10 tackles his sophomore year... Also was an All-League baseball player.
