2012 PFL Academic Honor Roll

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The University of San Diego football team had 33 players named to the Pioneer Football League's Academic Honor Roll the conference office announced Thursday.

Of the 33 Toreros chosen, eight were also chosen as PFL All-Conference performers: OL Matt Peleti (Finance), S Joey York (Communication studies), LB Zach Dunaj (Accounting), OL Cody Tescher (Economics), QB Mason Mills (Accounting), DE Blake Oliaro (Engineering), DT Dustin Geyer (Liberal Studies), and S Robbie Beathard (Accounting).

Pioneer Football League athletic directors and coaches established the honor roll as a way to recognize the league's outstanding student-athletes. The academic honor roll consists of student-athletes who participated in football at member institutions during the fall semester and posted a 3.0 grade-point average or higher during the semester while enrolled full- time in accordance with NCAA rules.
