(San Diego, CA) - The USD football team will begin spring football drills this coming Thursday, March 19th, with their 15 scheduled practice sessions culminating on Saturday, April 25th. Head coach Ron Caragher, who directed the Toreros to a second consecutive 9-2 record this past fall, has approximately 70 student-athletes participating this spring. Practices, all held between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., will take place at the Manchester Athletic Field found behind Cunningham Baseball Stadium. The Spring Practice slate will culminate with its spring scrimmage at 9:30 a.m. on April 25th (following the alumni game). Media are welcome to attend any and all spring practices.
