WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - The University of San Diego golf team will head into Tuesday's final round in seventh place (out of 12 teams) with a two round team score of 594 (293-301). USC currently holds the lead (564) with a comfortable ten stroke lead over Pepperdine and BYU who both shot a 574.
USC's Sam Smith is the clubhouse leader with a 6-under par total of 136 (65-71). He was followed by his teammate Yi Keun Chang who shot a 4-under par at 138 (70-68).
The Toreros were paced by Taylor Schmidt, who currently is tied for 16th place with a 146 (70-76). He is followed by Grant Forest (t-27 at 148; 73-75), Mathias Dahl (t-30 at 149; 74-75), Alex Chiarella (t-36 at 151; 76-75), and Linus Vaisanen (67 at 164, 81-83).
Additionally there were two Toreros playing as individuals. Skyler Finnell shot a 153 (t-46 at 153; 76-77) and Alexis Gemme-Piacente shot a 165 (68th at 165; 84-81).
