Was also recruited by Georgetown, Cal State Bakersfield, UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton... Played a variety of sports growing up, including tennis and volleyball... Was a top tennis player in southwestern Germany between ages of 12 and 16 before choosing to focus on soccer... Loves to travel and visited Australia and New Zealand for a year after gradauating from high school.
