Earned his highest Campbell/ITA singles ranking of the spring at No. 92 on April 12th... Was named first-team All-WCC in singles and second-team All-WCC in doubles with Nils Schive... Set a new career-long winning streak by winning 11 singles matches from February 5th to March 25th... Won both of his singles matches in the WCC Championships to help USD win its first WCC title since 1990... Defeated BYU's Spencer Smith 7-5, 7-5 in the first round of the NCAAs, helping the Toreros earn their first NCAA win since 1990... Sophomore ('09-'10): Had an outstanding combined fall and spring season, finishing 30-6 overall singles and 17-3 in dual competition... Was the first USD men's tennis player since Jose Luis Noriega (31-4 in 1991) to earn 30 singles victories for the combined fall and spring campaign... Went 14-2 at the No. 2 spot in duals... Was 3-1 while competing at the No. 1 position... In the tandem competition, teamed with three different partners and garnered an overall dual record of 9-7, capturing his best mark of 4-4 at No. 3 with Abdullah Hashem... Named to the All-WCC First Team for singles... Closed out the season ranked No. 90 in the Campbell/ITA College Tennis Singles Rankings... Slotted as high as No. 82 in the rankings... Helped the Toreros to a third place finish at the WCC Championships by winning two matches against Bryan Thorp (6-3, 6-4) of Portland and Asaf Cohen (6-4, 7-6) of San Francisco... Kicked off the 2010 dual campaign by reaching the semifinals of the National Collegiate Tennis Classic held in Palm Springs... Picked up three singles wins at the NCTC, including an upset of previously 36th-ranked Clay Donato of University of North Carolina... Captured ten singles victories while competing in the UC Irvine Invitational, ITA Regionals, and So Cal Intercollegiate Championships for the fall campaign... Defeated Daniel Nguyen of University of Southern California, who ended the season 16-1 in dual action and ranked No. 83 in the ITA polls, at the ITA Regionals... Freshman ('08-'09): Joined the team in January for the spring '09 season... Turned in a solid effort for the Toreros in his first season with San Diego, going 11-11 while competing primarily at the No. 4 position (8-9)... Won both his matches while competing at the No. 2 position... Helped the Toreros to a second place finish in the WCC Tournament by defeating Johan Berhof (6-2, 6-4) of LMU and Geoff Hernandez (6-1, 6-3) of Portland in the second round of play.
