Freshman (2011-12):Went 6-7 overall in singles in his first campaign as a Torero and 1-3 in dual singles... Was 3-5 overall in doubles and 2-1 in dual doubles... Competed in the Aztec Fall Invitational, ITA Southwestern Regionals and Southern California Intercollegiate Championships... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.59 GPA and was an ITA Scholar Athlete.
High School/Junior: Attended Menlo High School where he earned four varsity letters... Ranked No. 8 in NorCal singles and No. 1 in doubles as a senior... Named first-team All-League as a sophomore, junior, and senior, while also being named leage MVP as a junior... Was a CCS finalist in doubles during his senior season and CCS doubles champion as a junior while going undefeated individually that entire season... As a senior, his team posted a 28-1 record while finishing as the national runners-up and CCS and NorCal champions... During his junior year, his team went 22-0 and was national, CCS, and NorCal champions, while he was a sectional finalist in doubles and named the Most Improved Player... His sophomore season his team finished 27-2 and was national and CCS champions... As a freshman, was named second-team All-League as his team went 18-6.
Personal: Born April 12, 1993 in Palo Alto, Calif.... Son of Doug and Lauri Carlisle... Chose USD because of the weather, the academics, and the great tennis program... Was also recruited by Boston College... His father played basketball and tennis at UC Berkeley... Is a triplet and has six siblings.
