Senior (2012-13):Named 2nd Team All-WCC in singles and doubles... Named WCC Player of the Month for doubles (w/ Clarke Spinosa) in Nov. 2012... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.32 GPA... Moved into 2nd place in USD history in career doubles victories after going 21-10 overall in doubles on the year... Posted a 20-13 overall singles record... Played primarily No. 1 singles, going 10-8 in that slot... Teamed with Clarke Spinosa as the primary No. 1 doubles tandem, going 13-6 in dual play... As a pair, their 20 overall doubles wins was the 4th-most in a single season in USD history... Finished the season with a career-high No. 74 doubles ranking (w/ Spinosa) on June 5... In doubles, defeated then-No. 7 Jarryd Botha & David Vieyra of Alabama in the first round of the NCAA Tournament (May 10)... Teamed with Spinosa to win the doubles championship at the Battle In the Bay Classic in the fall... Went 6-2 overall in doubles during the fall and 6-3 in singles.
Junior (2011-12):Named All-WCC honorable mention in singles and first-team in doubles (w/ Nikola Bubnic)... Went 20-11 overall in singles and 16-7 in dual singles... Played primarily at No. 4 in singles... Posted an 18-11 overall record in doubles and 13-7 in dual doubles... Teamed primarily with Nikola Bubnic at No. 1... Along with Bubnic, became the first USD doubles pair to advance to the ITA National Indoor Championships... Earned a season-high singles ranking of No. 61 on Jan. 3... Went 4-4 in singles in the fall while competing in the ITA All-American Championships, Battle in the Bay and ITA Southwestern Regionals... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.3 GPA.
Sophomore (2010-11):Had the second-most singles wins on the team, going 31-11 in overall singles and 20-5 in dual singles, playing primarily at No. 5... Was an All-WCC honorable mention selection in singles and a second-team selection in doubles (w/ Clarke Spinosa)... Posted an 11-3 record playing at No. 5 singles... Set a career-long winning streak by winning 13-consecutive singles matches between January 29th and March 25th... Defeated BYU's Thomas Shubert 7-5, 6-1 on May 13th to help the Toreros earn their first NCAA Championship win since 1990... In doubles, teamed primarily with Spinosa at No. 3, going 17-8 as a pair and 18-10 overall in doubles... In the fall, went 9-6 in singles and won the back draw of the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational (Midland, TX)... Advanced to the consolation final of the ITA Southwestern Regionals (Irvine, CA) on October 24th... Also competed in the SDSU Fall Tournament (San Diego, CA)... Named to the WCC All-Academic first-team and the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll after earning a 3.36 GPA in the spring.
Freshman (2009-10):In his first season with the Toreros, earned a starting role in the singles ladder... Went 10-10 in dual match play, slotting primarily at the No. 3 slot (7-8)... Partnered with three different Toreros in doubles competition... Helped the Toreros to a third place finish at the WCC Championships with two singles wins over Evan Schleining (6-3, 6-3) of Portland and Einar Hart (6-3, 6-2) of San Francisco... Also picked up two tandem victories with Powers at No. 3 over Geoff Hernandez (8-3) of Portland and Einer Hart and Mark De Castro (8-3) of San Francisco... Tabbed All-WCC Honorable Mention for singles... Competed in the National Collegiate Tennis Classic after joining the team mid-year.
High School/Junior:Attended Jean-Jaures... Obtained a Top 40 Jr. ranking in France... Competed in the French Championship doubles semifinals.
Personal:Born in Paris, France... Chose to come to USD because of the great and personable head coach Brett Masi, strong tennis history, and the superb academics... Enjoys playing soccer in his free time.
