BOSTON, Mass. - The University of San Diego men's tennis team secured two singles victories and two doubles wins in the second day of the Harvard Chowder Fest. Clarke Spinosa and Uros Petronijevic won in singles for the second day in a row, and the duo also picked up a doubles win. Andrew Carlisle and Patrick Hall picked up the other doubles win for the Toreros.
Clarke Spinosa continued his singles winning streak, knocking off Harvard's Denis Nguyen 4-6, 6-5, 6-4 at the No. 1. While Uros Petronijevic defeated Alex Streinroeder at the No. 2 spot 6-4, 6-4.
The Toreros played two rounds of doubles on Saturday. After struggling in their matches against Tulsa, the Toreros rebounded to earn two doubles wins against California. Spinosa and Petronijevic knocked off Gregory Bayne and Mads Engsted 8-5 in the No. 1 spot.
Carlisle and Hall won a tight one over Wyatt Houghton and Jack Sanford 8-7.
