WCC Honors 110 USD Student-Athletes on Commissioner's Honor Roll

The nine WCC schools put a total of 1,093 student-athletes on the list from the 13 sports that the conference sponsors, which is another new conference record.

Freshman (2011-12): Competed in three meets in his first season as a Torero... Ran a season-best 27:02.0 8k at the Titan Invitational... Set a personal record in the 1500m during the spring by running a 4:23.18 at the UCSD Triton Invite... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.03 GPA.

High School/Prep: Attended Jesuit High School, earning a total of five varsity letters for head coach Walt Lange... Named the varsity squad's most improved runner as a sophomore, while clocking a 5K time of 16:38.
