The nine WCC schools put a total of 1,093 student-athletes on the list from the 13 sports that the conference sponsors, which is another new conference record.
USD put in a strong showing against Kansas State, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Freshman (2011-12): Rowed primarily with the novice... Raced with the 2V8 at the Longhorn Invitational... Competed in the San Diego Crew Classic, UVA Invitational, WIRA Championships and Pacific Coast Rowing Championships... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.53 GPA.
High School: Attended the Academy of Holy Names, where she earned three varsity letters for head coach Jorge Rodriguez... Helped lead her team to a pair of first place finishes at Regionals and a pair of second place finishes at States... Her team took third at Scholastic Nationals on two occasions... Was named team MVP during her junior year... Helped guide her team to a second place finish at Cities and third at Districts as a junior.
Personal: Born April 29, 1993 in Denver, Colo.... Parents are Rachel and Gordon Daly... Chose to attend USD because of the beautiful campus and the great combination of athletics and academics... Was also recruited by Loyola Marymount and George Washington.
