COMPLETE RESULTS

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Row for the Cure regatta at Mission Bay was an all around victory on for the University of San Diego and the other schools and club teams participating in this year's event. San Diego earned numerous first place finished throughout the event giving head coach Kim Cupini a lot of confidence in this year's squad.

San Diego took first and second place in the women's collegiate eight's race with the first place time clocked at 15:41.0 followed by the second place boat at 15:44.0. USD then earned the top two places in the women's collegiate double with the first place boat finishing in 18:28.0 and the second place boat finishing in 20:39.0. Other high marks include the women's collegiate novice four boat which took first place with a 20:52.0 time.

The overall winner of this event was the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation. The Toreros tenacious fundraising efforts will help researchers continue their battle to cure breast cancer.

The Toreros return travel to the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival on Sunday, November 1st in Newport Beach, California.
