FRESHMAN (2010): Played in eight matches with two starts...recorded a start against Pepperdine (10/29/10) and against Loyola Marymount (11/5/10)...helped the Toreros earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played three years of varsity soccer at Cathedral Catholic High School...as a sophomore she helped her team win the Western League Championship, the CIF Championship and the team was ranked No. 4 Nationally by the NSCAA...as a senior she was named second-team All-State, was a Union Tribune All-Academic team member and named defensive MVP...As a junior, she was named to the Union Tribune All-Academic team...played club soccer for the San Diego Surf...in 2009, she helped the team become a Surf Cup finalist...in 2008 she was a Cal South ODP Player Pool selection...in 2008 she helped her team win the Summer Surf Cup championship.

PERSONAL: Lisa Benito was born on October 10, 1992 in San Diego, Calif....she is the daughter of Rick and Vicky Benito...was also recruited as a volleyball player...chose to attend USD because coaching staff, academics and soccer program...Lisa's sister, Ariane, rowed for the USD women's crew team.
