p>SOPHOMORE (2010): Played and started in all 21 matches this season as a mainstay in the Toreros defense...helped the team record five shutouts on the season and bolster a 0.83 goals-against-average...took five shots on the season...took a shots against USC (8/20/10), Dartmouth (9/10/10), Cal State Northridge (9/27/10), Santa Clara (10/10/10), and against Portland (10/22/10) ...helped the Toreros earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament. FRESHMAN (2009): Played in 17 matches with two starts...scored one goal against Cal State Northridge (8-21-09) giving the Toreros a 3-0 win... helped the team finish second in the prestigious West Coast Conference and earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament. FRESHMAN (2008): Redshirted at USD. HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in soccer while playing at Aliso Niguel High School...as a senior, was named first-team All-CIF and first-team All-South Coast League...was her team's second leading scorer all four season's...earned second-team All-League as a junior and took home All-League honorable mention accolades as a sophomore... She also played for the SoCal Blues club team..during her time with the SoCal Blues, she helped lead the team to the 2005 national championship and the 2007 Premier League Cup Championship...also lettered in Track & Field and in volleyball. PERSONAL: Alexis Nicole Deol was born on Aug. 25, 1990 in La Habra, Calif....she is the daughter of Steven and Kari Deol...chose to attend USD because of the outstanding women's soccer program...her father played golf at Rancho Santiago College.
