JUNIOR (2010): Played in 20 matches with 19 starts...named second-team All-WCC...recorded two goals and two assists for six points as the center back for the Toreros...scored her first two collegiate goals in a 4-1 win against San Francisco (10/15/10)...recorded one assists in a 4-1 win against Arizona (9/27/10)...recorded one assist in the 2-1 win against Saint Mary's (10/17/10)... helped the team record five shutouts on the season and bolster a 0.83 goals-against-average...named WCC Player of the Week once this season ...helped the Toreros earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
SOPHOMORE (2009): Played in 20 matches and started in 18 of those matches as a defender for the Toreros...helped the Torero defense post a GAA of 1.21... recorded one assist in a win against Seattle (11-1-09) and one assist against CSU Bakersfield (8-23-09)... helped the team finish second in the prestigious West Coast Conference and earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament...helped the Torero defense record seven shutouts.
FRESHMAN (2008): Played and started in 19 matches as a mainstay in the Toreros backfield...tallied two assists for two points...was named to the All-WCC Freshman team...helped the team receive a national ranking as high as No. 11... helped the team advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament...helped the Torero defense bolster a GAA of 0.75...recorded one assists in a win against UC Riverside (9-26-08) and in a win against San Francisco 10-17-08).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in soccer while playing at San Pasqual High School...helped lead her team to three Valley League Championships...as a junior was named the CIF and Valley League Player of the Year after scoring nine goals and 11 assists...as a junior helped lead her team to the CIF Championship...was named first-team All-CIF as a junior...was a member of the Surf Club team...helped her club team reach the state cup finals four times and won two regional championship titles..she was also a member of the Cal South ODP from 2004-06 and an ODP Regional Pool member in 2006.
PERSONAL: Natalie Ann Garcia was born on January 30, 1990...she is the daughter of Joe and Leonor Garcia...was heavily recruited by Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, Nevada and UC Riverside...chose to attend USD because of the academics, the team chemistry and because of the beautiful location.
