JUNIOR (2011): Played in 21 matches with 12 starts as a forward...scored three goals for six points... helped lead the team to the program's first WCC championship, and into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament...scored a pair of goals in a win against Loyola Marymount (10/23/11), one of them was the game-winner...scored one goal against UC Irvine (11/11/11).
FRESHMAN (2010): Played in all 21 matches with 20 starts as a mainstay in the Toreros midfield...named All-WCC honorable mention and selected to the All-WCC Freshman team...recoded five goals and added in one assist for 11 points...scored the game-winning goal against USC (10/1/10), and against San Francisco (10/15/10)...scored one goal against Michigan (9/29/10)...scored one goal against Saint Mary's (10/17/10)...scored one goal against Loyola Marymount (11/5/10)...recorded one assist in a 5-1 win against Portland State (9/19/10) ...helped the Toreros earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played soccer at Henry D. Sheldon High School...as a senior, she tallied 11 goals en route to helping her team to a Southwest League Co-Championship...as a senior she was named the Southwest League Player of the Year, named first-team All-State and was named the Register Guard Girls Soccer Player of the Year...was named first-team All-Southwest League as a sophomore and junior and was an honorable mention as a freshman...she was named second-team All-State as a junior...was also a member of the Track and Field team...also played club soccer for F.C. Willamette and the Lake Oswego Soccer Club.
PERSONAL: Taylor Lee Housley was born on September 30, 1991 in San Francisco, Calif....she is the daughter of Darin and Traci Housley...chose to attend USD because of the soccer program, the small classroom sizes, and the weather.
