SENIOR (2013): Played in 17 games and made 15 starts at midfield... Had two goals and three assists... Tied for third on team in points with seven... Attempted 16 shots, putting eight on goal... Named WCC Player of the Week (9/30-13/10/6/13) after scoring game-winning goal in USD's 1-0 win over Long Beach State... Ended career by scoring a goal and dishing out game-winning assist in Toreros 2-1 win over Pacific... Also had assist at Gonzaga (10/26/13) and against Saint Mary's (11/7/13).
JUNIOR (2012): Played 19 matches with 15 starts as a midfielder for the Toreros...recorded three assists for tree points...recorded one assist against USC (9/2/12)...recorded one assist against USC (9/14/12)...recorded one assist against Cal State Northridge (9/23/12)...took a total of 15 shots, five of them were on frame.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in 18 matches with eight starts as a midfielder... helped lead the team to the program's first WCC championship, and into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament...recorded one assist against Alabama (9/2/11)...took three total shots, one against Loyola Marymount (10/23/11), and two shot against Kansas (9/28/11).
FRESHMAN (2010): Played in 11 matches with 10 starts rotating between defense and the midfield...took one shot on the season against Santa Clara (10/10/10) ...helped the Toreros earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters at San Pasquel High School...was named first-team All-Avocado League as a senior...was named first-team All-Valley League as a freshman and sophomore...was named her team's MVP as a junior...was named first-team All-CIF as a sophomore, and took home second-team All-CIF honors as a freshman...played club soccer for the San Diego Surf.
PERSONAL: Lauren Elizabeth Dotson was born on February 16, 1992 in San Diego, Calif....she is the daughter of Donald and Joyce Dotson...was also recruited by Kansas, Alabama, Saint Mary's, Santa Clara, Texas Christian...chose to attend USD because of the location and competitive soccer program.
