FRESHMAN (2006): Took a medical redshirt at USD.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in soccer playing for Randy Dodge at Aliso Niguel High School...helped lead her team to the Sea View League championship during her final three seasons...was a three-time first-team All-Sea View selection...named third-team Division I All-CIF as a senior...also lettered in track and field holding the school record in the 4X100 relay.
PERSONAL: Cassandra "Cassie" Tinyo was born on March 8, 1988 in Laguna Beach, Calif....is the daughter of Mark and Sue Anne Tinyo...was also recruited by Northern Arizona, Baylor, Penn State, Nevada-Reno and the University of La Verne...chose to attend USD because of the beautiful campus and the reputation of the soccer program.
