JUNIOR (2011): Played in 16 matches with eight starts as a mainstay on the Torero defense...helped lead the team to the program's first WCC championship, and into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament...helped the team post six shutouts, and bolster a 0.88 team goals-against-average...helped the team post shutouts against Santa Clara (11/4/11), BYU (10/29/11), Gonzaga (10/27/11), San Francisco (10/9/11), Alabama (9/2/11) and Pacific (9/26/11).
SOPHOMORE (2010): Played in 18 matches with 11 starts as a mainstay in the Toreros defense...recorded one assist for one point against Portland State (9/19/10)... helped the team record five shutouts on the season and bolster a 0.83 goals-against-average...helped the Toreros earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
FRESHMAN (2009): Played in 19 matches and started in five of those matches as a defender for the Toreros...had five shots with one shot on goal...helped the team post an overall GAA of 1.21... helped the team finish second in the prestigious West Coast Conference and earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament...helped the team record seven shutouts.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Earned four varsity letters in soccer while playing at Canyon High School...is a three-time first-team All-Centry League selection...earned an All-Centry League honorable mention as a freshman...as a senior, scored six goals and added in three assists...played club soccer for the Irvine Strikers...while playing for ther Strikers, she helped lead the team to a 42-8-5 overall record and helped guide the team become a North South State Championship Finalist in 2008.
PERSONAL: Caitlin Williams was born on March 11, 1991...she is the daughter of Jimmy and Georgann Williams...chose to attend USD because she feels the the university offeres the best balance between athletics and academics...her father Jimmy played football at Ft. Lewis.
