TEMPE, Ariz. - The University of San Diego softball team posted a shutout-loss to the No. 1 ranked Arizona State University Sun Devils Sunday afternoon at Farrington Stadium. The Toreros fell 14-0 in five innings.

The Sun Devils recorded two grand slams and two more two-run homers against USD. San Diego's lone hit came in the fourth inning when Nichole Valenzuela sent a shot into centerfield taking first base.

Luna takes the loss striking out three batters on the night.

With the loss, USD falls to 9-15 overall. They will return home to take on CS San Marcos on Wednesday, March 12 at home for a single game at 5:00 p.m. at the USD Softball Complex.
