What is your most memorable moment in your USD swimming or diving career?
My most memorable moment on the USD swim team was definitely the 200 medley relay at the WAC Championship. It was the first event of the meet and our relay was all freshman. The pool was so loud my ears were ringing, the entire USD team was lined up at the end of our lane, and I was probably the most excited I have ever been to swim.
Where is your favorite place to vacation?
Hawaii!!! What's not to love about a place where you can swim and kiss dolphins and the sunsets are gorgeous?!
Where is your favorite pool to compete in?
USD's pool. Up until this fall, I had never swam outdoors before. So, I really am loving swimming and simultaneously getting tan! Although I must say, the only drawback is the oh-so-flattering goggle tan!
Why did you choose to attend USD?
I chose USD for a couple of reasons. One, I really felt like I fit in with the team. Two, I have always wanted to work with animals when i am older and USD has a great marine biology major (plus, SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo are not too far when looking for internships) and three, the location is absolutely perfect.
What is your favorite Starbucks drink?
Tall nonfat strawberries and cream frappuccino, extra whip.
