What is your most memorable swimming/diving moment? Why?
Finaling at conference on 3 meter my junior year after only 2 months of training coming back from a semester abroad.
Describe yourself as an athlete and as a student.
I am hardworking, disciplined, and strive for excellence both in and out of the pool. School and diving are both a priority. I live life to the fullest, and find my strength in Jesus Christ each and every day.
What piece of coaching and/or personal advice has stuck with you over the years?
"You can cry, but no crying mid-meet; wait 'til after." Thank you Monica for that piece of advice freshman year after I screwed up a dive at conference and started crying. I pulled myself together after that and nailed my next dive. Since then, I haven't cried during a meet; I always try to stay positive and focused on what's next.
