SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - The University of San Diego swimming and diving team swam to a seventh place finish on Wednesday afternoon tallying 48 points on the day. In the 200 yard medley relay, the Toreros posted a time of 1:48.77 with Kristen Yoon leading off followed by Haley Pittman, Joy Miller, and Kristina Levesque.
In the 800 yard freestyle relay, USD posted a sixth place finish with a time of 7:40.74. Yoon again led off followed by Sarah Gleason, Miller, and Erin Voyles. Their sixth place finish was ahead of University of Idaho and Boise State University.
San Diego competed in a number of time trials following the first two events. 12 different athletes competed for a spot in upcoming events. The results of the time trial events are available on the schedule page.
San Diego continues to climb higher in the standings as they return to the water at the Palo Alto College Natatorium in San Antonio, Texas all day on Thursday.
