The University of San Diego women's swimming and diving team kick off the start to their season this weekend with events on both Friday and Saturday. Coach Mike Keeler is in his 12th season as head coach. The team welcomes the addition of six freshmen while returning a lot of familiar faces.

On Friday, the Toreros will take part in a head to head match with Texas Christian University at San Diego State. On Saturday, they return home for their first conference meet of the year against WAC rival Idaho. The match begins at noon.
