Senior (2012-13):Won a career-high 14 singles matches while posting a 14-9 overall record... Posted a 10-7 dual singles record playing primarily at the No. 6 spot... Started out the 2013 season by winning eight of her first 10 singles matches... Went 10-10 in doubles (8-8 in dual matches)... Teamed mostly with Marta Stojanovic, posting a 6-5 record with her... Named to the WCC All-Academic Team with a 3.73 GPA
Junior (2011-12):Went 9-3 overall in singles and 5-0 in dual singles play... Played exclusively at No. 6... Won her final seven singles contests of the season... Posted an 11-9 overall doubles record and a 9-7 dual doubles mark... Teamed mostly with Stephanie Hoffpauir at No. 3, going 9-6 as a pair... Named WCC honorable mention All-Academic with a 3.66 GPA... In the fall, went 4-3 in singles and competed in the SDSU Fall Classic I, ITA Southwestern Regionals and SDSU Fall Classic II... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.68 GPA and was an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Sophomore (2010-11):In her first season as a Torero, went 1-0 in dual doubles with Maja Sujica, defeating Cal State Fullerton's Karina Akhmedova and Malorie de la Cruz...Competed in three fall tournaments; the SDSU Fall Classic I & II and the ITA Southwestern Regionals... Went 0-7 in singles during the fall and 1-2 in doubles teaming with Marite Raygada.... Was named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll and an ITA Scholar Athlete after earning a 3.58 GPA.
Freshman (2009-10):Competed in the fall season at Washington State University, compiling a 6-3 singles record.
High School/Prep:Attended Clay High School in South Bend, Ind... Lettered four times in tennis for head coach Randy Styles, earning team MVP honors each year... Named second-team All-State as a senior and academic All-State... Northern Indiana Conference first-team as a junior and senior... Second-team All-NIC as a sophomore and NIC honorable mention as a freshman.
Personal:Born May 5, 1991 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Payton and Janey Brown... Older brother, Adam, is an Aerospace Engineering major at UCLA... Mother, Janey, is a middle school teacher's assistant and father, Payton, is a psychiatrist in South Bend, Ind.... Was involved in National Honor Society throughout high school and was class president senior year... Interested in visual arts as a major because she is passionate about film and the artistic side of production... Also, interested in Ethnic Studies because she believes that an understanding of other cultures is necessary to create better global relationships... Enjoys filmmaking and ping pong... Began playing tennis at nine years-old after seeing Venus Williams and Lindsay Davenport in the 2000 Wimbledon final... Was also recruited by UC Santa Barbara... Chose USD because of the solid academics, the beautiful campus, and the great city.

Once I turned around what seemed like 50 people, family, friends, and acquaintances were all cheering for me. I had the greatest support anyone could ever ask for."
